Allah or Your Mother. Who Loves You More?

We all have 2 mothers. Our Biological Mother and Mother Earth. We come from one mother and we go to another mother, born from the mother's womb and we return to the womb of the Earth.
"From the (earth) did We create you, and into it shall We return you, and from it shall We bring you out once again."
The word 'Umm' which means 'Mother' in Arabic comes from the word which means "origins", and we should never forgot our origins and where we came from. The mother's love to her child is the closest thing to the mercy of Allah on this planet.

During the time of the Sahabah, there was a woman who lost her child, and the Sahabah who was around that time was helping her find her child. Everybody was having a hard time finding this child. They were constantly bringing a kid after a kid and it was never her child. After a long search, they finally found her child and when she seen her child, she began to cry, hug and kiss her child. During this time, the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) was observing this and he turned to the Sahabah and said: "Do you think that this mother would throw her child into the fire?" The Sahabah immediately said, "Impossible, don't you see the love and affection she has for her child ya Rasoulullah."
The Prophet then said, "Allah is more merciful to his believing servants than that mother could ever be to her child" (Bukhari & Muslim)

If the servant attains the pleasure of Allah, this means that Allah loves him. The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said, "Allah will not throw someone he loves into Hellfire." With that said, we should make sure that there is no greater concern to us except the love of Allah, because if Allah loves us, we are saved.

Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said, that Allah (SWT) says, "My servant keeps getting close to me through freely chosen devotions until I love him, I am the hearing through he hears, the sight through which he sees, the hand through which he holds, and the foot through which he walks." (Bukhari)

To know how much you love Allah, see when you are given a choice between two matters; one that Allah loves, and one that you (your nafs) love. See which one you choose.

Prophet Ibrahim was given the greatest title of "Khaleelulah" (Friend of Allah) because he was not given two choices except that he chose Allah over anything else.
If a calamity ever hits you, always remember that Allah tests those that he Loves.

A famous scholar in the past (can't remember his name) said: If I could choose to be either judged by my mother or Allah, I would choose Allah to judge me.
